Welcome to Stories. These terms and conditions outline the rules, specifications, and regulations governing the use of our website and all services provided by Stories, including web development, branding, graphic design, promotional products, custom hoarding prints, and event coordination.
1. Intellectual Property & Brand Ownership
Unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing, Stories and/or its licensing partners own the intellectual property rights for all software code, templates, creative concepts, stage blueprints, vector illustrations, and brand identity kits displayed on this site. Ownership of custom deliverables (e.g. customized logos, web applications, or printed collateral files) transfers to the client only upon full payment settlement of all disputed and undisputed project invoices.
2. Client Deliverables & Copy Materials
When you submit design briefs, copy documents, trademarked logos, or image files for printing or publishing, you guarantee that you own the respective copyright or possess explicit usage rights. Stories is not responsible for any copyright violations or trademark disputes arising from assets supplied directly by clients for custom project production.
3. Project Scopes, Revisions & Print Tolerances
All quotes, rates, and milestone schedules are bound by signed scopes of work (SOWs). Stories provides a set number of review iterations outlined in the SOW. In high-volume offset printing, promotional merchandise manufacturing, and billboard hoarding installations, final products are subject to industry-standard color variations (+/- 5% variance from digital screen values) and size tolerances. Clients agree that such minor variations do not constitute product defects.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Clients may cancel services subject to the following terms:
- Design & Development Phase: Upon cancellation, the client is billed for all hourly logs or completed milestones up to the cancellation notice date. Completed mockups remain the property of Stories.
- Custom Print, Billboards, & Merchandise: Once a print file is approved and sent to press, orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified.
- Event Coordination & Decors: Venue styling cancellations are subject to forfeiture of deposit fees as scheduled in event SOW contracts.
5. Limitation of Liability
Stories delivers websites, brand guidelines, and outdoor printing layouts using best practices. However, in no event shall Stories, nor its directors, officers, or employees, be held liable for any commercial losses, lost sales, retail store downtime, search engine ranking shifts, or indirect damages arising from the delivery of our services. Total liability under any claim is capped at the exact amount paid by the client for the specific disputed project invoice.
6. Governing Law & Local Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions, along with any separate agreement whereby we provide you services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions, disputes, or claims arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
7. Data Usage & Privacy (All rights reserved.)
We would like to clarify that any features or additions implemented in our system are not intended to access or misuse client data. We do not view, store, or use any personal or confidential client information without proper authorization.
The purpose of adding such functionalities is solely to ensure smooth system performance and to enhance the overall user experience.
Data privacy and security are our top priorities. We strictly follow standard practices to protect all user information and ensure that no data is misused under any circumstances.
